About the Technique

I will be offering lessons from 1 June 2021. I am happy to work indoors or outdoors. When you book a lesson I will contact you to discuss what adjustments/mitigations we should both make to ensure that we are comfortable working together. I will confirm the outcome of our conversation by e-mail before the lesson.


The Alexander Technique is a learnt technique which helps us to move through life with greater physical ease and less mental and emotional stress. In short it can promote our general sense of wellbeing.

The Alexander Technique has been found to be beneficial for sufferers of back, neck or other muscular skeletal pain and to improve respiratory function and physical balance.

It is widely used by performers: actors, dancers, musicians… and by athletes both professional and recreational.
